You may moan and groan, you’ll definitely sweat and you’ll probably laugh if you take up the latest, hottest (literally) form of yoga — Bikram Yoga. I’ve just started doing it and it’s great fun. Designed by Hollywood yoga guru to the stars Bikram Choudhury, it’s 90 minutes of 26 postures and two breathing exercises in a heated studio. It’s brilliant for easing the muscles and joints, great for detoxifying the body and toning up, and will improve your concentration and willpower to boot. What’s not to like? Anyone can do it whether you’re eight or 80, a fitness fanatic or exercise virgin, and I’ve got to say, I felt a difference, even after one session.
